Costa-Rica Community Center Grand Opening

The Jewish community center and synagogue in Costa Rica is a unique building - in both design and construction. Designed on the principles of the Kabbalah (the Jewish mystical doctrine), it encompasses the traditional and modern spirit of the community.

Involved from the early stages of the design, we at Alony had an exceptional view into the project. Alony supplied approx 3,000 sqm of Israeli stone for the project's exterior and interior. Materials used in the project include ALONY GOLD and ALONY CRÉME in a wide variety of finishes - from Honed and Polished in the inner layers of the building, to the rough finishes of Bush Hammered, Flamed, and Tubze in the exterior. The materials were used further in creating unique features such as marble carpets, "mezuzah", etc. for extra finishing touches.

The Grand Opening of the center was a special event with representatives from the local community and from around the world.
